What AllSalons is

AllSalons helps you discover, compare and book salon and spa services. Search for a service near a place you choose, see transparently ranked results, read labeled reviews, and send booking requests — or let our concierge match you. Salon owners can claim their business for free and manage everything from a dedicated portal.

Searching

• From any page, use the search bar: type a service (e.g. 'balayage', 'gel nails', 'fade') and a city or ZIP — or tap the target icon to use your current location.
• Filters let you narrow by category, price range, distance (a slider or typed miles), and license-verified only.
• Results show straight-line distance from the area you searched. When an area is sparse, we automatically widen the distance and tell you when we do; you can always set your own radius.
• Listings tagged 'Newly added' were discovered automatically from public sources and are not yet staff-verified.

Understanding a salon profile

Each profile shows photos (representative imagery is labeled as such), services, hours, an approximate map location, ratings with review counts, badges (License verified, Claimed, Sponsored), and actions: call, get directions, visit the website, or book. Scrolling down you'll find reviews with their verification level and any public business responses.

Saving and booking

• Create a free account (email or Google) to save salons, save searches and send booking requests.
• 'Saved & Bookings' in the header takes you to your account, where saved salons, saved searches and your bookings live.
• A booking request is pending until the business confirms it. Confirmed bookings can be cancelled from your account. Requests that go unconfirmed for 14 days expire automatically.

Writing a review

From a salon profile, choose 'Write a review'. You provide a display name, a rating and your experience, and attest that you are 18 or older. Your review is labeled with a verification level (verified service, evidence-supported, or unverified experience) and is moderated under our Review Guidelines.

Consumer Concierge

If you'd rather describe what you need, the Concierge (in the header) asks a few questions — service, budget, priorities, area — and explains why each matched salon fits. Matches come only from the directory and always link to the full profile.

For salon owners

• 'My AllSalons' in the header opens the Business Portal: claim your salon (free, with identity and control verification), then manage your profile, team, bookings, consultations, reviews and promotions.
• Promotions are optional and clearly labeled: a 30-Day Sponsored Placement ($99) and a Premium Profile ($29.99/month) — purchased from the Promotions tab. Neither affects your reviews, badges or moderation. See For Businesses for details.

Troubleshooting

• No results for your area: widen the distance filter, or try a nearby larger city or ZIP.
• A location isn't recognized: check the spelling or use a ZIP code.
• Wrong info on a listing: owners can claim and correct it; anyone can flag it via support.
• Sign-in problems: use 'Forgot password' on the sign-in page — reset links are emailed and expire for security.
